PPV Advertising – Using It With a Tight Budget (Part 2)

This post is a continuation of my series of post on how to use PPV advertising with limited budget. Today, I’m going to focus more on choosing the right PPV network that suits your budget.

There are several types of pay per view traffic. Examples are the following:

PPV traffic as a pop under, banner advertising, display advertising on related websites and even on mobile phones. Then, there is also this “desktop pop-under” and many more.

PPV Networks are widely known in the internet market today, some of which are Direct CPV, Traffic Vance, Media Traffic, AdOn Network and a whole lot more. I will give you a brief overview of these networks being mentioned.

Traffic Vance is like the head of the PPV networks. They have the most traffic and are also extremely choosy about the advertisers that they let in to their network. In order to join, you must have a referral (sometimes 2) and must be able to pass application process. Once completed, you are required to deposit an initial $1,000 to join and serve your ads. This may sound a lot but if you are serious about PPV Marketing, this will never be a problem. Nevertheless, it is recommended that you understand the ways on how to promote these types of networks before joining Traffic Vance.

Subsequently, DirectCPV and Media Traffic is the second best network to join. They have a moderate amount of traffic, but not nearly as much as Traffic Vance (no one does though). They also have a minimal amount of international traffic which is a good sign if you are trying to think outside the box by promoting international offers. Both of these networks has minimal amount needed for deposit which is only $100-200.  This reason allows a lot more marketers to start here first.

Finally, AdOn Network, the last network mentioned. It is a great entry level network to join with. They are different though from other PPV networks as instead of serving pop-ups on contextual traffic, they serve pop-unders. They are more focusing on contextual ads. While this sound not as lucrative as pure PPV traffic from PPV networks, it is certain. One of the advantages to AdOn is that the pop-unders can cost as little as $.005 each and they only require a very minimal deposit of $20 to start.

When people are trying to choose a PPV network, they automatically go for the biggest one out there. Consequently, it isn’t the right approach to use.  They will soon find out that they may not be able to gain access to the biggest PPV networks that are currently operational. Clearly, there is a very important thing that one should consider when choosing a PPV network, and that is: “budget”.

Although PPV networks are known for offering ‘cheap’ traffic, the truth is that some operate on very rigid rules regarding budgets. In addition, some require you to deposit a hefty initial budget to gain access to the network — which means that if your budget is fairly tight, you might not be able to afford.

Most of the well known PPV networks operate on this kind of policy. Others require a budget deposit of $1,000, while others require less than $500. At the end of the day, if you will be able to afford paying deposit like that — great! Yet, a lot of people who are flocking to PPV networks due to their cheap traffic can’t really afford to produce out that kind of money on a deposit alone.
Due to this phenomenon people need to look for other options! Luckily, it’s  not like there are no other options available.

Nowadays, there are so many PPV networks out there that you can really choose from. Many of the small time PPV networks are still trying to build up their reputations and advertisers are likely to be less stringent about their budget requirement, which means that anyone could use them instead.

Moreover, you will not gain more traffic from these small networks as you would be if you were able to tap into those networks with tens of millions of users — but it is better than nothing! Furthermore, on smaller networks you may even find that the bidding cost is a lot lower too. With your limited funds, you’ll have a lot more leeway and a better opportunity to learn the ropes before you end up spending whatever budget you do have!

To summarise, now that you’re aware of the restrictions that some networks may pose, you should be able to shop around and find a PPV network that suits your requirements. It is a must that you sort out your budget first, if you haven’t already. And be sure that you’re not spending more than you can!

One of the most important things to think of is to be sure that you don’t end up investing more than you really should and then regretting it later, when entering in the rocky world of PPV marketing and finding the right PPV network, make sure to examine all shapes and sizes. PPV Advertising- Using It with a Tight Budget (Part 1)

Lots and lots of people are asking how they can succeed with PPV (Pay per View) advertising and more and more people are telling horrible stories about how they had drained their initial deposit to PPV networks. As with my own experience, you can make money with it but you have to make sure that you have the patience and the time to work with it. I can only hear affiliates ranting about it instead of making it work.

The only thing that can pull down an affiliate is not sticking to a plan no matter what happen. If PPV advertising methods don’t work, how can you explain all those affiliates making money with it? Unless they’re also telling stories that they are making money about it even if they’re not but I know people personally that’s enjoying their fruits of labor. I should know, I’m one of them!

Listen, when it comes to PPV advertising or any other methods of advertising for that matter, you will need patience, time and perseverance. You have to be dedicated on what you need to do, how you should do it and what you need to have it done. In other words, you need to have a solid plan to follow. Your only goal is to follow that plan no matter what happens in the beginning. How will you know if your plan is working if you’re not willing to give it time to prove itself?

Now, I’m going to give you some tips in a series of posts on what I did to make it work for me but you need to be open-minded and ready to be trained before you can even start applying each of them. If you are already in the negative side of things and you felt you can’t push yourself to be a little bit more optimistic, then don’t bother. It’s better to stop looking for ways to find an online income altogether if you have that attitude because I guarantee that you will never make it.

The main problem of engaging in affiliate marketing is driving traffic to get sales. To drive traffic, you could either use free advertising methods or paid advertising methods. As with other post that I’ve written, using free methods is for people who have the time but don’t have the money otherwise you will be using the paid method which is for people who have the money but don’t have the time. Now, if you don’t have both (money and time), then that’s a big problem. Honestly, you should find a way to get either of them if you want to have an online income.

I’m going to discuss in depth the free methods of advertising on another post. Right now, we’ll focus more on PPV advertising.

With PPV advertising, you need to start small. Don’t believe in all tutorials of PPV networks to add huge list of keywords or URLs right from the beginning, this will easily drain your budget too without conversions. I learned this the hard way myself. There is always a learning curve for newbies; you have to track everything possible. Start from a small list of keywords and URLs and slowly add to them after seeing profitable results.

Tracking is always important. As many people don’t track their keywords and URLs, they loose sales simply because they did not track and deactivate bad URLs and keywords. These will not only let you loose sales but it will slowly drain your budget too. You are paying for those links and keywords but when customers view it, they’ll get a bad URL. Waste of money, waste of time and most of all waste of customer’s trust.

That’s just the main point in doing PPV advertising. Look for highly targeted keywords and URLs, bid conservatively and always track, track, track. It will only take you a few minutes to do this in a day.
