A firesale is a sales and marketing method that is being utilized by corporations to create awareness for their products. They normally conduct a bargain sale for a span of seven days, where their products are being sold at tremendously cheap rates. The rates increase as the seventh day comes to a close, after which the offer expires and will not be offered again.
According to research, the term ‘firesale’ was coined when numerous families whose houses were destroyed by fire sold of their commodities at significantly lower prices to compensate for the loss they suffered.
At the present world, firesales are being held to quickly disseminate information about the products being sold and to further spread the news about them via word of mouth. To distinguish a certain promotional sale as a firesale, there are certain features that set it apart from the others.
First, it is time-restricted. It can never be called a firesale if its run is not limited by a certain amount of time, which is as aforementioned normally done in seven days. In this situation, companies cannot offer their products cheaply in an indefinite amount of time.
Second, it can also be distinguished as a sale offering products at insanely low prices. This is done so that their goods will be sold quickly, encouraging shoppers to pick up something even if they do not need it at the moment.
Last feature that distinguishes a firesale is that this activity is done to achieve a certain purpose or goal. For businesses, their purpose is more of generating brand or product consciousness rather than obtaining substantial income immediately. Certain groups conduct them to support causes they believe in or to help friends or neighbors who have financial problems. Having firesales will pay off in the long run as more and more people become aware of the product either by being able to buy the product at a cheap price during firesales or by word of mouth from the people who have tried the products.
Whether you are an entrepreneur or an ordinary individual, conducting a firesale can be very beneficial for you when done the right way and with a proper goal in mind.

It’s not a trick really… well maybe it is.
It’s as good as gold if you learn how to use it right. So its time to let the cat out of the bag (sorta)…
Whether you want to make money, save money or just spend some darn money, this is a perfect place to do all of those.
Fiverr is an AWESOME resource that lets you buy and sell stuff for $5. (no that was not an affiliate link) ;-P
When you see some of the things that people are doing for $5 – and people are willing to buy the – you’ll understand why I say this is a super QUICK money trick.
Seriously though, I know a lot of people who are either strapped for cash who could use this.
And besides, five bucks is nothing to sneeze at. It’s good money especially when you get paid over and over again!
Not only that, but anyone looking to build a service based business or just have some fun online can do that too.
With it you can quickly turn an ordinary passion you have into an extra side gig that puts some nice cash in your pockets.
In the case of a business, it’s an awesome way to build up your client testimonials and get exposure for your biz.
If you’re looking to outsource some work you need done.. it’s a dirt cheap way to do it!
Take it from me, and test the waters on Fiverr because I think you’ll find it to be a great resource to add to your bag of tricks going forward.

ENERGY and POWER!
The world we live in is based on the fact that “He/She who has the energy has the power!”
In the physical world we see that in wars over oil and land.
We see it in the stock market and we see it in businesses…
BUT… what we forget to see it in is in PEOPLE.
You see, people are like living and breathing batteries.
We create energy.
If we look deeper into that fact, we’ll soon discover that the person who puts out or projects the right energy attracts a certain level of power.
Most of us are free to project that energy and empower ourselves.
(I have to say most because there are leaders and countries that oppress and suppress that in their people to maintain power – but that’s a discussion for another day, but very interesting to think about)
So how do you GET that energy?
First of all you need a foundation to build that energy from. Sort of like your own power-plant.
Well, like my friends John and Rasheed said in previous posts, “Change your habits and self educate yourself.”
That is the first step.
My next item for building up your internal power-plant is to open your mind and free yourself to see new ideas and opportunities and seize them for your own benefit.
There’s nothing wrong with being open to new ideas and being motivated to succeed.
Many of us are programmed to fear change and welcome ritual and routine.
That’s not how the world works.
Climates change, seasons change, children grow, technology changes, and even the stillest and largest of mountains is constantly changing.
Shucks, even every cell in your body changes and renews itself every 7 years or so.
Change is part of being human, so isn’t it time to open yourself up to new ideas and opportunities?
I don’t care if it’s a new job, a new business or a new diet.
Make some changes and the momentum you’ll build up from it will propel you forward and build your energy up to amazing levels!
I have to warn you though… like John said in the past on his blog… there WILL be people and things that will try to drag that energy down to their level.
Your job is to keep your energy high and never let anything stop you.
So GO ON and build your energy and super-charge your life starting today!

As I was combing through my buddy Tyler’s Net Space Profits System that I told you about earlier this week I got to thinking…
What makes a great idea?
I mean lots of us feel like, “if only we had a great idea we’d be rich!”
Well that’s somewhat right – and somewhat wrong.
You see, from my personal experience with people in many industries, I’ve come across two ways great ideas are brought forward.
One way is through innovation.
Innovation is simply the process of creating something new… often from two or more existing things.
For example: The iPhone.
Touchscreen technology already existed. So did smart phones and MP3 players – right? But, when Apple put the two together and improved the productivity and entertainment value for consumers around the world, THAT was a a killer innovation.
The next way is also very interesting – and I’ll also tell you why Tyler’s Net Space Profits inspired today’s post after.
But first I have to ask you…
Did you know that the largest companies in the world access your subconscious mind every day and then create all of the products you see on TV and in the supermarket and stores each day?
Not only that, but they use the same technique to help major corporations, overcome internal and external problems.
And guess what else they use it for…?
They use the same techniques to create the marketing campaigns to sell you the products that YOU helped them to create!
I hope that, that doesn’t make you feel awkward – does it?
That’s just the way this works.
So how do they access your subconscious mind and get you to create products for them?
It’s called “Metaphor Elicitation.”
Metaphor Elicitation put simply is a process of asking you key questions that draw out your answers and the metaphors and stories in those answers. The metaphors you use to describe your feelings and thoughts help corporations see into your mind and answer the “What” and the “Why” of how you, me and other consumers feel.
They then create new products and marketing campaigns to sell products based on what people really want.
Now, the reason this is important to YOU is because hidden in these metaphors are stories. Stories that tell us what’s going on in our world that we can apply and benefit from.
For example: Before the ABC News story came out about local business directories, Tyler knew about the need for such Net Spaces. Both from his own research and from stories he heard from offline businesses.
You see these things are all around us.
They’re happening all the time.
We just have to open our eyes and ears to these metaphors and stories we hear (or read) around us and look for ways to solve the problems we discover.
It’s not rocket science. It’s very simple in fact.
My personal mentors have been doing just that recently and they’ve actually found another interesting solution as well. I can’t tell ya’ what it is for another 3 months, but it is one of those things that make you wanna’ slap yourself for not seeing it sooner.
My friend, I’d like you to open up your mind and your eyes to what’s going on around you. When you see a great idea, do something about it. Don’t just sit there like most people and expect that someone else will come along and do it better.
Look at the iPhone. Everyone’s trying to do it better now, but the iPhone seems to be one step ahead of the competition regardless if someone else does it better.
Be open to ideas. Be FIRST to do whatever it is you’re trying to achieve.
It doesn’t matter what it is. For starting out simple things are best.
If you’re first in your family to achieve financial freedom on the internet – GREAT!
If you create a new method of doing something – GREAT!
My personal rules of operating are this…
1. Be innovative and creative in your thinking and take action.
2. Just because it’s already been done, doesn’t mean you can’t do it too.
3. Just because it’s done a certain way, doesn’t mean you can’t do it another way.
4. Use the right tools that help you achieve success.
5. Keep yourself informed at all times.

Have you ever felt like this to any offers you all at the same time?
Do you feel like it’s overwhelming and you can’t figure out which one to choose which one you would actually like, they all seem so great-yet he just can’t do them all?
Guess what…?
That was just like me AND just like my mentor Mr. A.
The difference is my mentor Mr. A. started out online barely scraping by and living in poverty.
So I asked him, “How did you manage to succeed with all these offers are out there?”
He said, “You guys are lucky, you actually have more information available to you now than when I started out!”
I was puzzled to say the least and before I could ask the next question he continued…
“You see John the good products around when I started out were twice the price if not more than what they are now – it was a big thing then, the higher prices. Regardless of that, what I did was I simply organized by computer. You see people forget that the computer is simply a storehouse of information, their own library.
Believe it or not, I went out and bought up every product that I felt was of value then I stored in the downloadable items on my hard drive and organized them into folders.”
I said, “You mean you bought all the stuff, how the heck did you afford it?”
He said, “I paid for what I could afford out of my paycheck and if something was valuable and I had to have it immediately I put it on a credit card.”
“Geez that’s pretty weird or should I say counter-intuitive don’t you think,” I asked?
“Sure is, but here’s what else I did…”
- First I bought everything I thought was valuable and I wanted to learn.
- I gave them a quick run through to see the overall theme of the product, making no judgments.
- Then I looked at the industry to see what was actually being done and what was “sticking” out there.
- I looked back over my library or bookmarked download pages to see which of my previous purchases were applicable to what was happening online now.
- I studied and applied it.
“That’s all! I went through periods of buying knowledge and periods of applying knowledge. ”
“John, think about it man… when you go to school you get at least 5 subjects thrown at you all at once in a day. Doesn’t matter whether it’s primary/elementary school, high school or University; it’s always the same – right?”
“We have no choice, but to learn all of this or FAIL! We should treat ourselves the same way with our post secondary education whether in internet marketing, making money online or whatever it is your goal is. ”
“Learning is Multidimensional“
…It’s not for lazy people who don’t want to think or work!
He was right, but one thing he mentioned to me that I really didn’t expect was the following.
The online ‘gurus’ tell you to focus on one thing…true… but what they don’t tell you is that they’re actually trying to get you to focus on THEM and not the market.
They know that people are overwhelmed, but instead of teaching them to organize their computer and themselves – an almost obvious necessity – they tell you to concentrate (on their product of course) and drop everything else.
SO my friend, it’s not so bad that there are so many offers out there. It’s OUR job – you and I – to organize ourselves into multidimensional thinkers and to decide what WE want to accomplish and figure out what is the best way for us to accomplish that goal.
Let’s not be WEAK as a group, but rather STRONG and aggressive with our knowledge.
Speaking of which, have you ever seen those LOA – Law of Attraction – people that swear can do nothing and make millions? Oh, i mean “attract” millions. That’s such BS.
What ever happened to good old fashioned learning and working? Heck, its how the world was built – now they want you to believe we “attracted”everything in the world? Hmmm… now THAT sounds like a real scam. A scam against humanity… but I digress… well, they are the kind of people and offers you SHOULD avoid.
Sure there are some scientific elements in what they say… but come on… the “DO Nothing… Achieve Anything” mentality has to stop.
A little elbow grease goes a long way my friend.
We all have our mortality to face. My time isn’t worth any more than yours. I just work harder and learn more than most people do.
The easy money comes after that!

I can literally hear the crickets chirping in the still air when I talk to people about making extra money –
Chirp — chirp — chirp… Chirp — chirp — chirp.
“Whaaaaat you mean without a job John?”
Yeah … without a job!
Then I can see the lights turn on in their brains with all sorts of crazy thoughts – like the one time my friend asked me, “You thinking like to be a prostitute?” I said, “sell your skills not yourself!”
“NO! What the hell is wrong with you,” I said laughing! “Sell your skills not yourself!” Heck you could sell yourself like a prostitute at a job for the next 40 years if you really want to right? At least you won’t get arrested.
It’s been said that our greatest enemy is the one we cannot see. That is especially true when it comes to making money.
Our preconditioned notions that it cannot be done without working a job or two or three are downright dangerous. In fact I have an Uncle that used to work 120 hours a week to save money to buy up real estate to invest in.
Guess what?
He got so sick and his body so weak, he lost most of his teeth (STRESS), he has all kinds of ailments like hypertension and high cholesterol and now he can’t find extra jobs and even worse the houses he invested in are up for foreclosure.
…But enough about that – that’s not you right? So here we go…
Put on your money goggles and lets find some money shall we?
(I’ll explain money goggles later)
1. Hidden Treasures – We all have them. Something that’s absolutely useless to us, but can be easily sold on a place like Ebay or Craigslist. Take some nice pictures of it and SELL that useless piece of junk. Remember one person’s trash is another person’s treasure!
2. Freelance Work - Got some skills? Got something you can do well? Know how to deliver quality? Sell your skills. Well get yourself some extra dough at a site like Elance.com, GetAFreelancer.com, Guru.com, RentACoder.com or any of the now tons freelance sites on the internet available online. And please don’t tell me about competing with countries like India or the like. You’ve got to have some faith in yourself and know that there are thousands upon thousands of individuals and companies like me who hire people on there from lots of other countries as well.
3. OPP Flipper – Other People’s Property Flipper. This is another simple way to make money fast. Can simply go out and look for garage sales or any kind of deals that you find and resell the item you just purchased a higher price. Many times at garage sales and flea markets you may find great deals on things that most people are not aware of. By selling them on a site like eBay for-profit you cover your costs and the time it took you to find the item I make a profit.
As an OPP Flipper all you need to do is find it buy it resell it. When it gets expensive stuff you can even find it resell it and then buy it… if you know how to structure a deal. HINT: most people don’t know how to sell online, but you can easily learn how.
4. Opportunity Optimizer - by realizing that there are opportunities everywhere especially online you can quickly and easily look for opportunities that are trending. for example you can go into “Google Insights for Search” and look for opportunities in trends that are currently occurring. For example the month of October and even a few months before there is a huge demand for Halloween costumes if you look at Google insights for search you will soon discover that each and every year there is a huge spike in demand for Halloween costumes with a corresponding dip in demand following customs. A smart person knows if a trend occurs every year you can begin capitalizing and making fast money by becoming an affiliate to these sites or starting one yourself. This type of business is seasonal but you can potentially make your entire year salary in a couple months time.
Your goal as an opportunity Optimizer is not necessarily to just look for trends but also look for any opportunity you can find to make money with.
5. Automated Income Systems - it’s funny how people don’t realize till this day the power creating automatic income streams. With the power of the Internet anyone can do this and as you already know this is my passion. For example affiliate marketing is an almost completely automated income producer. There literally tons of ways to do this but the basics always remain the same. Find something worth promoting find the people searching for it, send those people to that thing and those that buy or make you commissions. I can’t even begin to tell you how many people still don’t get it.
Number four and five can actually work together.
So what are money goggles?
Money goggles, the way I refer to them simply means looking through your own eyes in a way that shows you and proves to you that there is money everywhere.
Money is truly energy manifested in a physical form. If your energy says no money, you get no money. If your energy says I am money, money flows to you at lightning speed.
For example think about the computer you’re reading this post on. Every screw, every chip, every piece of plastic, metal, or cable was created by someone and that someone was paid to do it.
Everything surrounding you has energy and is truly money manifested into its physical form.
Affiliate marketing or any of the five I mentioned are simply channels to direct money into your pockets. All of them revolve around a value for value exchange. You sell something and you get money in return that is the basis of transferring money from one person to another.
What you sell depends on you.
Some people sell them selves for their entire lives to a job.
Some people invest in their money making education and learn how to attract money.
Opportunities are everywhere, it’s up to you to find the one that you feel best about, take action, and channel money towards you.
There are two ways to open a door.
You can learn how to unlock it and open it gracefully or struggle, waste energy and time to break it down.
Most people cannot get past their own skepticism’s so they are forced to break down the doors to wealth… others gracefully open it and allow it.

*** This is a very important blog post so please read it very carefully because it has the power to transform your life… I promise!
Last week as I was on the phone speaking with my mentor (Mr. A.) an interesting thing happened…
As I was talking to him about an upcoming project he said to me, “John, is this the real deal?”
“What do you mean,” I asked? “Of course this is the real deal why else would I talk about it?”
He said, “I don’t think you get what I mean here John, I’m asking you this question for a very specific reason. You see, years ago when I was getting started online and even back when I was consulting I made an interesting discovery.”
He continued, “What I discovered was that there were five principles that dictated the success of everything I ever pursued. Every project, every goal, every single thing! The interesting thing about it is this doesn’t just pertain to me. I found that these five principles were present in the endeavors of most people, if not everyone.”
My mentor and I continued on as he carefully outlined the principles to me. He then gave me the okay to reveal them to you.
Now keep in mind this is coming from a multimillionaire…
As it turns out this real deal principle is actually an acronym.
Here it is:
R – Realize
E – Everything’s
A – Always
L – Learned
D – Decision
E – Enthusiasm
A – Action
L – Learn
To be honest any average person can look at these principles and understand them almost immediately. It’s truly the ‘little guy’s’ way to success.
Here’s how it works:
REAL – this is the first principle. It simply means that when you venture onto any road toward success or a goal you must always realize everything’s always learned. This principle is pretty self-explanatory, but just to elaborate on the essence of what it means is that no one is born knowing how to be great – everything we do we learn.
DECISION – when we are ready to become successful at anything we must make a decision on what we want to pursue. It is said, “successful people make decisions fast move away from the decisions slowly. This is the basis of the DEAL principles
ENTHUSIASM – enthusiasm is the energy that drives an idea or concept forward. Without it nothing we’ve done and nothing we will do can ever happen or would have happened otherwise. Enthusiasm has its roots in the Greek language and it literally means “the God within.” That definition alone makes it pretty obvious that enthusiasm is the spark of creation.
ACTION – taking action is one of the most obvious parts of success, however the truth of the matter is most people never move out of their comfort zone and into the actual DOING part of success. Sadly most people fall short because they get carried away in thinking about how much they have to do instead of focusing on the small steps it takes to reach their goal and/or success. Your enthusiasm will spark your actions and catapult you forward but – The bottom line is if you do nothing you get nothing!
LEARN – the fifth and final principle is to step back once you have made your decision, became enthusiastic, and took action. This aspect of learning is to track your results or lack of results and take the necessary steps to either repeat your success or learn from your failure and improve. In other words learning happens before and after you do the DEAL.
So when Mr. A. asked me is this the real deal what he meant was would I be following these principles to reach success or will I go about it haphazardly?

Listen up…
I have something important to tell you and you’re not going to like it.
You see… As of today, “Making Money Online” is DEAD!
You’re probably wondering why would say something so blasphemous- so downright wicked – and so heartbreaking when so many people online are trying to make an honest living from home.
Now don’t get me wrong… to be honest with you… I am being a little sarcastic… but to tell you the truth, if things continue the way they are going most people will not succeed.
Here’s what I mean:
There’s a lot of people nowadays pushing or should I say selling – old and rehashed information – that in many instances are actually harmful rather than helpful. Recently I even saw one well-known guru selling a search engine submitter service to unsuspecting customers.
They are literally KILLING your ability to make money online and WASTING your time!
Just so you know you don’t need to submit your website or blog for that matter to the search engines, because they find you!
Now let me get something straight here… you only need THREE things to become successful with a website.
These three things are not going to make you successful as a person or business, but they will make you successful with your website AND that is the beginning of real success online.
So what are they?
Here are the three things things you need to become successful online guaranteed!
- A product or service - having a product or service to offer customers is of course the first thing you need to have make money online. Obviously you need something to sell in order to generate income. That could be a physical product, a digital product, or your particular service.
- A website – here’s another obvious one. Having a website is the equivalent of the old brick and mortar method of selling in the off-line world. Yeah you know… like a store! Hard to believe huh? lol
- Traffic – traffic is often the missing ingredient to most people’s success. When I introduced you to rapid income creator I was essentially introducing you to a source of traffic and a method of making money without having your website to start. Interesting thing about traffic is that it’s the one thing most people neglect! Even in the year 2010, people still believe that if they build a website by some method of magic people show up. Even the “all search engine friendly blog” can’t do that nowadays.
Yes, it’s that simple.
A product or service, a website, and traffic are all that you need to become wildly successful online.
Yes I have to admit there are some elements to the website that are going to dictate your success such as your offer and the all critical sales copy however, even the worst website can make a few bucks at least with enough traffic.
So when gurus are feeding you with her loads of crap and you’re wondering what you should do, just ask old John here and I’ll gladly tell you whether or not the latest gizmo works.
So for today, search engine submitters is a big negative. I’ll be on the lookout for crap to tell you about.
There are a new class of tools coming out, but there is going to be clones and ripoffs that are following that either don’t work because they were built right or their blatant lies.
Here’s the take away:
If you are an affiliate marketer, you need to find the right product to promote and send traffic to it OR build a blog or website around that category of product to make yourself an authority figure on it. This way when you recommend that product or the class of products the traffic that you are generating will now be more likely to buy. This is an EXTREMELY powerful method.
If you are looking to build a business/asset online then of course the first thing you need to do as a little research into what people want and build a product or service around it. Be sure you have competition. Yes you must have competition! That simply means that money is being made with that type of product or service. as long as he can offer something better, equivalent, more unique or a better price, you’re all set.
As a product owner all you need to do now is set up a website with a great offer generate traffic to it.
This post has helped you or at least solidified these ideas in your mind.
Starting out online and you’ll find that there is never a shortage of ideas… new methods… and new tools… BUT the fundamentals will always work even if they’re not fancy.
